BOUTIQUES and SHOPPING DISTRICTS
Walk down South
Congress (SoCo) to explore boutiques offering
clothes, antiques, jewelry, art, and tattoos. Warehouse and downtown
districts (4th & 6th St.) offer upscale
clothing boutiques and modern and antique
furniture.
The flagship Whole Foods Market anchors another
retail area along Sixth Street and Lamar
Boulevard. It is joined by Anthropology,
BookPeople, and the shops at Fifth Street and
Lamar, which includes By George, Zanzibar, and
Chico's.
Burnet Road between U.S. 183 & 45th St. has
home furnishing stores and thrift shops.
The Drag, which borders the University of Texas,
